7 Point Star

This is the title track to my new album 7 Point Star. It started as a mantra that I said to myself as I was taking an extended road trip from the west to the east coast of the US by car and then back again by train some years ago.

The 7 points to me represented: West, South, East, North, Sky, Earth and Myself. There is a song to relate to each of these cardinal points.

1.West = "West"

2. South = "Ritual Eyes"

3. East = "Autumn"

4. North = "North/Full Wish Thinking"

5. Sky = "Polaris"

6. Earth = "Columbia River"

7. Myself = "7 Point Star"

The entire album features me alone with a 12 String guitar and was recorded live in single takes. All songs written by Gabriel Gordon except for "Autumn" (Gabriel Gordon/Christof LIttmann/Jason Nye) and "Columbia River" (Jason Darling/Aaron Johnston/Gabriel Gordon/Jesse Murphy).

I will be releasing the album at my show in Berlin on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 in Berlin at the Speakeazy Stage & Sound at Kulmerstr. 20A in Schöneberg. 19 Uhr - 20:15 Uhr. Cosmo Lautaro and Band play directly after me. The show will be recorded and will be available as a live album.
